Who we are

OCC Recycling (occrecycling.com) is a referral service. We pass requests to buy, sell or recycle Old Corrugated Cardboard (OCC) bales to partner suppliers in our network, who prepare quotes and provide the services.

What the forms collect

When you send a quote request or message, we collect what you enter, such as:

• Your name, email address and, if you give it, phone number
• Company name and address, city, state and ZIP or postal code
• Details of your request: service type, bale quantity, grade, weight, timing and your message
• Whether you agreed to receive text messages about your request

With the request we also record the page you sent it from, how you reached the site (for example the referring site or campaign tags in the link), your IP address and browser type. These help route the request and prevent abuse.

How your request is used

Your request is sent to the 1DB lead platform, which delivers it to partner suppliers in our network so they can prepare a quote and contact you about it. We do not sell your information, and we use it only to handle your request.

Text messages

If you tick the text message box, a partner supplier may text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Agreeing to texts is not required to send a request.

Analytics and Cookies

The site uses cookieless PostHog analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets no advertising cookies. The forms keep a note of how you arrived in your browser's session storage for the length of your visit.

Retention

Requests are kept only as long as needed to handle them, follow up and keep basic business records, and are then deleted.

Your choices

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, send a request through the contact form. To stop text messages, reply STOP.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
